Davis ready for season, enjoying New Orleans

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - No. 1 draft pick Anthony Davis is looking forward to his first NBA season. Davis helped Kentucky win the NCAA title in New Orleans earlier this year. Now he's enjoying the same city as his pro career begins.

Monday night Davis pulled down 17 rebounds in the Hornets 87-74 exhibition loss to Dallas. New Orleans will open the season November 2 at home against Utah.

In the show "Rooks" which is shown on NBATV and can be seen at nba.com, Davis is enjoying life in the Big Easy.
