Football Cats Get 2nd Commitment of 2014

By  |

LEXINGTON, Ky - (WKYT) The cats picked up another football commitment this morning and he’s a good one. Thaddeus Snodgrass, a 4-star player out of Ohio.

Snodgrass is a 6'1", 184 pound wide receiver out of Springfield Ohio. rates him as the #30 wide receiver in the country.

He chose the cats over West Virginia, Louisville, and South Carolina. He's the second commitment in the 2014 class,

Why Kentucky? Apparently for some of the same reasons Mark Stoops and his staff are giving to lots of recruits. He likes Neal Brown's Air Raid Offense, lack of depth at UK gives him a chance to play early in the SEC and it doesn’t hurt that Springfield is just a few hours north.
