LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Jordan Brand Classic continues to be one of the naiton's premiere hgih school all-star games and on Tuesday the rosters for the 2013 game were announced.
Five Kentucky recruits were among 22 players selected for this year's game, which will be played April 13 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and televised live on ESPN2.
"This year's roster could be one of the most talented in the 12 years of the Jordan Brand Classic," said Larry Miller, president of Jordan Brand.
The five Kentucky recruits who'll suit up in the game are point guard Andrew Harrison, shooting guard Aaron Harrison, small forward James Young, center Dakari Johnson and power forward Marcus Lee.
Andrew Harrison, Johnson, Lee and Young will all play for the West team, but Aaron Harrison will be on the East squad, meaning twins Aaron and Andrew will face off against each other.
Also stepping onto the floor in mid-April will be No. 1 prospect Andrew Wiggins, who is undecided on a college. Wiggins on Tuesday narrowed his list of schools down to North Carolina, Kansas, Florida State and Kentucky. The 6-foot-8 forward from Huntington Prep (WVa.) will make an official visit to UK on Feb. 27.
The complete East team includes Aaron Harrison, Hill, Selden, Walker, Wiggins, Tyler Ennis (Syracuse Orange), Kuran Iverson (Memphis Tigers), Rondae Jefferson (Arizona Wildcats), Kennedy Meeks (North Carolina Tar Heels), Bobby Portis (Arkansas Razorbacks) and Julius Randle (undecided).
The West squad includes Andrew Harrison, Embiid, Johnson, Jones, Lee, Parker, Vonleh, Williams, Young, Aaron Gordon (undecided) and Nigel Williams-Goss (Washington Huskies).
