Football Cats land two more commitments

LEXINGTON, Ky (WKYT) - UK football coach, Mark Stoops, continues to bring in more commitments. Friday evening, the Wildcats received news Jeff Badet and JoJo Kemp are Kentucky bound. Badet, a 3-star receiver from Freedom High School in Orlando, picked the Cats after originally saying yes to South Florida. Badet, who caught 46 passes for 718 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2012, turned down offers from Louisville, MC State, and UCLA among others.

The Wildcats also landed JoJo Kemp, a 3-star running back from DeLand, Florida. Kemp is a 5'11, 190 pound back who runs a 4.5 40-yard sprint. Scout.com ranks Kemp as the 72nd best back in the country after rushing for 1.464 yards and 24 touchdowns. Kemp chose UK over Pittsburgh, South Florida and Tennessee.
