Former Georgetown All-American signs British basketball deal

Lexington, Ky. (WKYT) - Former Georgetown All-American Victor Moses has signed a professional basketball contract with the Cheshire Phoenix of the British Basketball League.

Moses, who played at Henry Clay High School, helped lead Georgetown to the 2013 NAIA national championship, defeating Southwestern Assemblies of God University, 88-62.

Following the season, Moses was named the NAIA National Player of the Year, becoming the first Tiger player to win the award.

He averaged 17 points per game last year, finishing 8th on Georgetown's career scoring list, with 2,106 points.
