Former Wildcat suspended eight-games

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Former Kentucky Wildcat and current Cincinnati Bengal DeQuin Evans has been suspended eight-games for violating the NFL's policy on performance enhancing substances.

The defensive end would not be eligible to return to the Bengals active squad until Oct. 28. He has spent the previous two seasons on the Bengals practice squad.

Evans' previously served a four-game suspension while on the team's practice squad in 2011. He was an undrafted rookie free-agent out of UK in 2011.
