Georgetown College’s initial application for membership in NCAA Division II has not been accepted for the 2012-13 academic year.
The college received a letter Friday, July 13, 2012, from the membership committee stating it felt that Georgetown College was not ready to enter the process at this time.
Under NCAA Bylaws, institutions are given 30 days within which to appeal the decision. The college is currently evaluating its options.
