LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Madison Central guard and Kentucky Mr. Basketball Dominique Hawkins will announce his college choice at a morning news conference on Wednesday.

The announcement can be seen live on WKYT.com beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Hawkins, also Kentucky’s Gatorade Player of the Year, has scholarship offers from Purdue, South Carolina, Western Kentucky, Tennessee Tech and Morehead State.

The 5-foot-10 guard met with John Calipari the week after leading Madison Central to the school’s first state championship. Hawkins has said in the past weeks that he’s waiting on a scholarship offer from Calipari.
