LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Jon hood and Jarrod Polson have experienced many highs and lows at Kentucky. The pair of Kentucky natives say it's hard to believe it's almost over.

"It seems like yesterday I was playing with John, Eric, DeMarcus, in here late nights working out and national championship," said Hood. "It flies by"

"I can remember freshman year, getting here, and it seems like forever ago that that was the case," said Polson.

The minutes on the court have been limited for Hood and Polson during their time at UK, but neither would trade their experience at Kentucky.

"No, I'm having a blast," said Hood. "I could see if you're not playing if you have the wrong attitude, wrong approach to it, I could see that. I'm having fun."

"I've always wanted to play at Kentucky," said Polson. "Every time I step on the court it's fun for me."

After nine years combined in a Kentucky uniform, Tuesday night will be their final game at Rupp. It could be emotional, but they say the other is more likely to shed a tear.

"Jon, easily," said Polson.

"No, that's Jarrod. No. honestly, I don't think either one of us'll cry. We'll be happier. We won't cry."

Both will start be in the starting line-up for Tuesday's game against Alabama.
