Lexington, Ky. (WKYT) - No one has been on the Kentucky roster longer than Jon Hood. At the age of 21 he's not the oldest player on the team but he is a player who can help the freshmen with a lot of valuable knowledge.
Hood is back for his junior year after undergoing major knee surgery and redshirting last season. Hood says he'll do whatever he can to earn playing time and get back on the court. As he does he says he can provide a lot of knowledge that will help the freshman class. "That knowledge is, this is the way you do stuff, you have to have a little bit of flair to it, just to assert you're, I wouldn''t say arrogance but aggressiveness and sureness in yourself."
Hood went on to say the younger players accept it. "I try to get that along to Archie and he has no problem with it. Alex and Willie and Nerlens, Nerlens doesn't have a problem with it either, he'll tell ya he's good."
