LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Denver Nuggets are hopeful UK guard Jamal Murray can give their backcourt a boost. The team introduced Murray, along with Petr Cornelie, Juan Hernangomez and Malik Beasley Wednesday.
“I think we’re all really excited, really anxious to get on the court and prove what we got,” said Jamal Murray. “We’re just really happy to be here. We’re with a great organization that trusts in all of us. Just looking forward to the future.”
Murray will bring versatility to the Nuggets with his ability to play both the point and the two-guard and should compliment Emmanuel Mudiay in Denver.
"Two years ago I was a point guard," Murray said. "I wasn't coming off screens as well as I am now or catching and shooting as I am now, so now I'm a better two-guard, so I'll be able to play off of him and he'll be able to play off of me as well."
