Kentucky Boys' All-Stars shorthanded

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky Boys' All-Stars are getting ready to play Indiana Friday night with a short roster.

Coach Chris O'Hearn is without Mister Basketball, Quentin Snyder out of Ballard. Snyder has commitments with UofL, he will join the team tomorrow. Henry Clay's Jordan Green and Perry Central's Justin Johnson are in summer school at WKU. For O'hern its been tough to deal with.

"It's been very frustrating." said O'Hearn. "It's been a challenge and certainly something we are just trying to overcome and we have had some with local high school guys that have stepped in and given us a couple of bodies. But they have their high school schedules they have to attend to as well."

O'Hearn has also had two players leave the squad, Chris McGraw and Trey Edwards. " It's hard to get much up and down action when you've only got seven guys in practice and y'know conditioning such a big part of the game. If you're not in good shape, you're not going to shoot the ball very well. The first thing to go is your legs and if you don't have your legs you're not going to shoot it well. We're just going to keep working hard and trying to get better and the scrimmages will hopefully help us a lot with that this week."

The Kentucky-Indiana boys' game tips off at 8:00 p.m. Friday in Transylvania's Beck Center and can be seen live on The CW Lexington. The girls' game will tipoff at 5:30 p.m.
