The Philadelphia Eagles cut former Wildcat Trevard Lindley on Saturday to make room for offensive lineman Nathan Menkin.
Lindley had survived Friday's initial round of roster cuts. But the club had very little depth up front, so the Eagles picked up Menkin, who had been released by Houston.
Lindley was a fourth-round pick in 2010.
Other Cats cut include Micah Johnson and DeQuin Evans (Bengals); Chandler Burden (Dolphins); Anthony Mosley (49ers); and Ricky Lumpkin and Alfonso Smith (Cardinals).
Danny Trevathan (Broncos) and Winston Guy (Seahawks) are among a group of former Cats who claimed roster spots. The NFL season gets underway next week.
