KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Derek Reese had a double-double in his first action of the season Monday as Tennessee ended a two-game skid with an 82-67 victory over Morehead State.

Reese hadn't left the bench in Tennessee's first 10 games this season, but the sophomore forward entered midway through the first half Monday and had 12 points and 10 rebounds to establish career highs in both categories.

Josh Richardson scored 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds for Tennessee (7-4). Jeronne Maymon added 16 points and eight rebounds. Jarnell Stokes had 13 points and nine rebounds.

Morehead State was coming off a 120-83 victory over South Dakota in which it posted its third-highest point total ever against a Division I opponent in the program's 85-season history, but the Eagles scored just 12 points in the first 14 minutes of Monday's game.
