MOREHEAD, Ky. - Morehead State Athletics has unveiled "Rise and Soar" as its marketing strategy for the 2014-15 school year. The brand will be consistently featured in all marketing pieces for the department, as well as become prominent artwork for the department's social media efforts.
"Rise and Soar embodies our vision," Assistant Athletic Director for External Affairs Brad Smith said. "We have made significant strides in all areas of our department. Having a unified brand is another important step in engaging our community and continuing to showcase our department as one of the best in our conference and region."
The theme was developed by Smith, and graphics were created by Wes Peters of @WESPN Designs.
The Rise and Soar campaign features the word mark with the "Rise" and "Soar" highlighted in gold and the "And" set in blue. Each piece incorporates a current student-athlete or group picture. All photos for fall sports were taken by former men's tennis student-athlete Ji Hoon Heo.
The visuals will be utilized in schedule banners, pocket schedules and posters and can be incorporated in stand-alone marketing pieces as well for each sport. In addition, a digital television ad is set to run inside several Morehead businesses.
