Morehead State Eagles fly to Denver

The Eagles are flying to the mile high city and it wasn't just the players who left out this morning. Coaches, cheerleaders and band members are all making that long haul to Denver.

The people making up the entourage following the Morehead State Eagles are ready for what's to come.

"Much bigger stage than we're used to, coming from the OVC to the national spotlight but we're excited about it," said band member Brian Harding.

A few of these players have been under this spotlight before. Kenneth Faried has helped the younger players get ready for the big dance.

"Have fun, enjoy the moment, don't let the bright lights get to you," said Faried.

For Head Coach Donnie Tyndall, this trip is an opportunity to thank the people who have supported the team along the way.

"There's so many people that have helped us build this program, you want to reward those people," said Tyndall.

The team's first practice is Tuesday night. They take on the Louisville Cardinals on Thursday at 1:40 PM.
