LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Former Kentucky guard Rajon Rondo is unsure about his future after one season with the Sacramento Kings.
Rondo is back in his hometown of Louisville conducting his annual camp this week. He said he should know something about next season soon.
"What next for me, we'll find out in about four or five days," said Rondo. "I haven't thought much about it but I'm looking forward to the opportunity of maybe going back to the same franchise or going to a different one. You never know what the future holds and I'm very excited and just going to pray about it and let whatever happens happen."
Rondo is coming off a good season with the Kings in which he played in 72 games and averaged 11.9 points and 11.7 assists per game.
"Last season for me was one of my best that I've had in awhile," said Rondo. "I was able to go out to Sacramento and stay disciplined and stay focused and focus on what matters which is basketball. I was able to go out there and play with a great player, DeMarcus Cousins. We didn't have the best season but I was able to stay healthy and get back to where I need to be."
