LEXINGTON, Ky (WKYT) - The state of Florida has gobbled up another of the former UK football coaches. Former Cats offensive coordinator, Randy Sanders, is the latest to head to the Sunshine State. Former UK head coach, Joker Phillips, is the receivers coach at Florida. Sanders will coach running backs at Florida State. The 47-year-old Sanders spent seven years in Kentucky blue, starting as the QB coach and then becoming the offensive coordinator in 2009. Prior to his tenure at UK, Sanders was an assistant for 17 seasons at Tennessee. Ironically, Sanders spent seven seasons as the Vols 'OC' before heading to Lexington.
