LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – It’s turning out to be a Yahtzee kind of weekend for Kentucky coach Mark Stoops. Already, the Wildcats have picked up three verbal commitments in the past 24 hours.
On Friday, 4-star safety Marcus Walker re-committed to the Cats. After committing to Stoops in the winter, Walker decide to re-open his commitment in April.
Walker goes 6-foot-0, 175 and is from Lake Wales, Fla. He chose the Wildcats over Tennessee, Michigan State, Arkansas and Central Florida.
Joining Walker in the Class of 2015 is cornerback Kei Beckham, from Trotwood, OH. Rivals.com rates Beckham as the No. 42 cornerback in the country and the No. 20 prospect in Ohio.
On Saturday, Stoops received a commitment from in-state quarterback Zayaire Hughes. Hughes is listed as an athlete, but will quarterback McCracken Co. this upcoming season.
