Lexington golfer Ty Thompson is one of the best in country at his craft. He's won several national golf tournaments, but you won't see his name on the PGA tour. That's because Thompson competes in the United States Blind Golfer's Association.

Thompson took up the sport of golf after a genetic defect left him without sight in either eye.

He says that golf has become a team sport with his coach Bill Carter, who lines him up for each shot. This past month, Thompson helped organize a USBGA event in Lexington, where competitors from across the country came to compete.
