LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Detroit Lions say they've signed eight players picked in the NFL draft, including Larry Warford from Kentucky.
The team announced the 4-year contracts for the players on Friday. Additional terms weren't disclosed.
Warford was taken in the third round with the 65th overall pick. According to Aaron Wilson, a football beat writer for the Baltimore Sun and an analyst with Fox Sports, Warford gets a four-year deal worth $3.075 million, including a $675,000 signing bonus.
Other players signed are Mississippi State cornerback Darius Slay, South Carolina defensive end Devin Taylor, Appalachian State punter Sam Martin, Virginia Tech wide receiver Corey Fuller, Notre Dame running back Theo Riddick, Alabama tight end Michael Williams and Florida A&M linebacker Brandon Hepburn.
