Will the recruits help next fall?

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The strength of the class of 28 players that UK coach Mark Stoops and his staff signed Wednesday is unprecedented since the recruits have been rated. But what kind of help does Stoops expect to get when the Cats take the field next fall?

"The simple answer is they will help." said Stoops. "To what capacity and how much and all of that I don't know. And you know and I know that's the tricky question when you're trying to tally up the wins and losses."

Stoops has never been one to make any promises. "And you know enough about me that I'm never going to put myself in the position to make a prediction on wins and losses and things like that. But they will help us, when that reflects, and how many wins I'm not sure."
