Bert Browne fired as Madison Central football coach

RICHMOND, Ky (WKYT) - Madison Central has fired football coach Bert Browne after four seasons. Browne inherited a program in shambles in 2010 and, in his second year, won a district title. Then in 2012, the Indians won a playoff game for the first time since 2007. Central stumbled this season going 2-and-9 after graduating 20 of 22 starters. Browne's four-year record was 15-30. No word yet on a new coach.
