23,000 tickets gone for Blue/White

LEXINGTON, KY. (WKYT) - The University of Kentucky says 23,000 reserved seats have already been distributed for the Blue/White Spring Game April 13. It is expected to be the biggest crowd ever for a spring game. An estimated 20,225 fans attended in 1987.

Coach Mark Stoops put out an email asking the Big Blue Nation if 25K could be reached before the end of the day.

Tickets became available Thursday for UK season ticket holders and UK students. The general public can acquire tickets through TicketMaster beginning March 11.

Tickets are free but there is a small service through TicketMaster. Season ticket holders are limited to eight tickets, UK students can acquire two per ID.

Remaining tickets will be available to the general public through the same TicketMaster channels beginning Monday, March 11 at 9 a.m.
