Wyndham, George named captains for UF game

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky Coach Joker Phillips has announced that senior defensive linebacker/end Taylor Wyndham and junior tailback Jonathan George will be game captains on Saturday when UK faces Florida at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Wyndham had a career-high seven tackles for Kentucky last weekend, while also recording half a sack, two tackles for loss and a pass breakup. George led Kentucky offensively in the game with three touchdowns – two rushing and one receiving – leading UK in rushing yards and finishing third receiving with six receptions for 54 yards.

Wyndham and George will join permanent game captains Matt Smith and Collins Ukwu at the pregame coin toss.
