LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - There is a new attitude for the West Jessamine Colts this season. West Jessamine alum Yancey Marcum takes over the program and brings an intense, uptempo style to practice and eventually the games.
The Colts Devin Taylor was the state's leading rusher in 2012 with almost 2,500 yards. He's back for a senior season, and he has company in the backfield. Coach Marcum says that the teams has more options to run the ball and the Colts will hang their hats on the ground game. Marcum also says the biggest improvement should be on defense.
