Cats Humbled As They Prepare For Ole Miss

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky coach Joker Phillips says he's
confident the Wildcats are already over last weekend's 48-14 loss
to Florida.
Phillips calls his team's attitude down, but not necessarily
defeated. The Wildcats (3-1, 0-1 SEC) were gashed by the Gators in
the second half, as Florida pulled away behind the play of freshman
Trey Burton, who set a school record with six touchdowns.
Phillips blames part of Florida's outburst on his team's poor
tackling. Kentucky will return to full-contact practices this week
to shore up its tackling technique.
The coach adds the Wildcats will need to be better if they want
to slow down Ole Miss (2-2, 0-1), who are led by quarterback
Jeremiah Masoli. The Rebels ran for 425 yards in a win over Fresno
State on Saturday.
