Stacey Poole transferring from UK

Sophomore guard Stacey Poole has decided to leave the UK basketball program.

Coach John Calipari put out a message on Twitter Monday afternoon, wishing Poole well.

Poole, along with Terrence Jones was involved in a car accident early Friday morning, which led to a curfew being imposed by Calipari.

Poole's status had been up in the air for the last two weeks.

Poole was seeking more playing time.

He came out of high school rated the number 33 player in the country, but averaged under three minutes a game for the Cats.
