Hartline gets the start for Saturday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky offensive coordinator Joker
Phillips says Mike Hartline will start his third straight game at
quarterback for the Wildcats on Saturday.
Phillips said after practice Thursday that Hartline will get the
first series against Middle Tennessee State. However, head coach
Rich Brooks has said both Hartline and freshman speedster Randall
Cobb will see significant playing time.
Cobb relieved Hartline against Norfolk State and threw for one
TD and ran for two others. Hartline and Cobb both said Thursday
they don't care who gets the first snap.
Before Phillips disclosed Hartline's start, Brooks was asked if
he had made a decision. He said he was nearing one but had nothing
to announce.
