LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Practicing in a cold rain Tuesday,
Kentucky coach Rich Brooks said his team was focused and sharp
ahead of Saturday's game against Vanderbilt.
Cornerback Trevard Lindley went through practice after leaving
last weekend's game against Georgia with leg tendonitis and will be
back in action against the Commodores. Receiver Kyrus Lanxter has a
bruised shoulder but should play. Linebacker Micah Johnson
continues to suffer from a cold and is questionable. Defensive
tackle Myron Pryor is questionable to doubtful with a sore ankle.
Brooks said the team will continue to practice in the cold this
week to prepare for conditions when Kentucky (6-4, 2-4 Southeastern
Conference) takes the field against Vanderbilt (5-4, 3-3) in a game
that could decide each team's post season fate.
Saturday's forecast expects temperatures in the mid 30s for the
8 p.m. kickoff, with the possibility of snow.
