Anthony Davis went on The Dan Patrick Show this morning to talk about his NBA future. The subject of who he'd most like to play against came up and Davis said he'd like to shut down Kobe Bryant.
Davis told Patrick, “He’s a monster. So I just want to go out there and play my hardest. There’s a lot of guys that can’t stop Kobe, so if I stop him I could be one of the guys that say I shut Kobe down."
Patrick told Davis Kobe listens to the show and he has a great memory.
Davis responded, "Tell him I'll be waiting."
Davis later tweeted his comments were out of complete respect for Kobe and his game, he called Bryant a legend.
