LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Coach John Calipari has been telling his team to be more vocal and communicate, he's also telling his players they must trust. The Cats return to the court Saturday afternoon in Rupp Arena against Marshall.
With semester break in progress Calipari is conditioning his team and practicing three times a day. On his website CoachCal.com, Calipari spoke of how players must trust each other on the court. "If someone says switch, we don't quite trust that. So we go another two steps with our own man and then our other guy's open." Calipari says it's hard to trust if you're not a trusting person. "In other words, I don't have your back and I don't think you have my back, cause I know I don't have your back. We've got to get to that point."
Tipoff for the Marshall game is set for 4:00 p.m. Saturday, the game will be televised by ESPN2.
