LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari is recommending his favorite books to visitors to his website, which has created the "Coach Cal Book Club."

The list features books Calipari has read recently or is reading and recommends to others. The website says he prefers nonfiction to fiction and favors historical biographies, self-help, motivational and spiritual selections.

The book club has also joined with the Lexington Public Library for fans who are residents of Lexington. Each of the library's six branches has a special shelf just for the book club selections.
