UK coach John Calipari tossed out the idea of Kentucky playing a triple-header with men's basketball, women's basketball and football.
Talking with WKYT's Dave Baker at the SEC meetings in Destin, Florida Calipari said, "I want to do a triple-header. On a Friday our women will play and our football team plays on Saturday. Play the same team, we'll play them all. Play it in Atlanta, play it in St. Louis, pick the opponent. Lets do a triple-header, lets make it a whole weekend of basketball, it helps all of us to be together like that and do something unique and special."
Calipari said later he had an opponent in mind for the triple-header.
UK is already planning a double-header with women's basketball against Baylor in the 2013-2014 season.
