LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - John Calipari has said his team needs to embrace the process, if they do progress can be made. Nearing the end of January, Calipari and his players believe that's happening.

"We're getting to where every day you can try to get better because we're not fighting it." said Calipari. His team has won three straight and Calipari was pleased with how hard his team practiced Sunday, one day after beating Georgia.

"It's very accurate." said sophomore Willie Cauley-Stein. "Ya know last year, there wasn't this many people that would stay and come in at night and work out. Now it's like that, we've got three or four guys, five guys doing it every night. And it just shows that we've really bought into this and we're trying to get better every day and ya know, try to make a run at it."

"I think that's a big thing for us to have fun." said freshman Julius Randle. "We can look at it as hard work and, 'ah man this is tough.' Or we can look at it as fun and wer'e getting better and excited about getting better. And if we do that, I mean, I think the sky's the limit for us."

Kentucky travels to LSU Tuesday night. Tipoff will be at 9:00 p.m. on ESPN.
