The saga of UK basketball's Enes Kanter could come to an end within the next couple of days.
UK Athletics released a statement, saying a hearing to appeal the NCAA's decision that ruled Kanter ineligible to play will be heard this week.
Multiple national media outlets have reported the hearing was yesterday.
UK officials went on to say that once an appeal is heard, a decision will be made within two days.
The NCAA says they found Kanter received $33,000 in extraordinary benefits from a Turkish pro club he played for when he was 14, 15 and 16 years old.
