INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Indianapolis have added receiver Chris
Brooks and quarterback Mike Hartline to the team's practice squad.
Both are undrafted rookies who spent training camp with the
Colts before being waived in the NFL's two mandatory cutdown days.
They join receivers David Gilreath and Marshall Williams,
defensive tackles Ricardo Mathews and Ollie Ogbu and offensive
tackle Mike Tepper, all of whom were cut Saturday and re-signed
Sunday.
Indianapolis opens its season Sunday at Houston, likely without
four-time league MVP Peyton Manning who is still recovering from
offseason neck surgery.
