UK baseball coach Gary Henderson has agreed to a new five year contract with the school. The Wildcats won a school record 45 games last season advancing to the NCAA tournament.

In 2011 Kentucky struggled to a record of 25-30 and three consecutive seasons without a post season appearance. In 2012 UK started the season with a 22 game winning streak, The Cats ended the season 45-18 with 18 wins in the SEC and Henderson was named SEC Coach of the Year.

Assistant coaches Brad Bohannon and Brian Green are also receiving new contracts to remain.
