New Jersey prep star Karl Towns picks UK

LEXINGTON, KY. (WKYT) - Karl Towns, the 7-foot New Jersey prep star announced Tuesday morning he will attend the University of Kentucky.

Towns is rated the No. 1 prospect in the class of 2015 but he also announced Tuesday morning he will reclassify to 2014 and be playing in two years. Towns played under John Calipari last summer on the Dominican Republic's national team.

Towns selected UK over Duke, Florida and Michigan State.
