Former UK guard Doron Lamb was among a group of players working out for the Memphis Grizzlies Monday.
The Grizzlies have the 25th overall pick in the first round.
Lamb worked out with two other shooting guards, John Jenkins of Vanderbilt and Kansas' Tyshawn Taylor, and point guards Dee Bost of Mississippi State, Tu Holloway of Xavier and Scoop Jardine of Syracuse.
Lamb did not speak after the workout but Tony Barone, Director of Player Personel said, "Anytime you're on a team that wins a national championship and you're a factor for that team, you have to pay very close attention to that guy. He is one of the guys that we would look at and say, can he be a combo? and the question is, I don't know. He shoots the ball, he has played point guard for their team when Teague went down and got in foul trouble, he played point guard. So hes had experience at that postion, does that mean he steps in and does it in this league, I don't know. Because the point guard position is a quickness position and he'll be challenged a little bit quickness wise but I like his size at that position.
