UK Hoops jumps to 6th in AP Poll

NCAA Women's Basketball 2009-10 Kentucky UK vs Arkansas UK wins 69-52

The Kentucky women's basketball team has moved up two spots to No. 6 in The Associated Press poll released Monday.

The Cats are 11-1 after defeating Samford 90-61 in their only game last week.

Kentucky's next game is at Middle Tennessee State on Wednesday.

Baylor remains the nation's top-ranked team. UConn is second, followed by Notre Dame, Stanford and Maryland
