The Knoxville News Sentinel is reporting that UK assistant coach Kyra Elzy will be joining the staff of SEC-rival Tennessee. Elzy currently is the associate head of the Wildcats under Matthew Mitchell.
New UT coach Holly Warlick takes over for Pat Summitt, who stepped down after 38 seasons.
Elzy will fill one of two assistant openings on the Tennessee staff.
The Oldham Co. native played on two national championship teams under Summitt.
