UK slips to 10th in latest AP rankings

The Kentucky Wildcats slipped from 8th to 10th in the latest Associated Press college poll
Duke is a unanimous No. 1 choice in The Associated Press'
college basketball poll, and Connecticut has made the second-most
impressive jump into the rankings since 1989.
The Blue Devils received all 65 first-place votes from the
national media panel Monday. Ohio State, Pittsburgh and Kansas
moved up to be second through fourth. Kansas State and Michigan
State lost last week and dropped to fifth and sixth.
Connecticut moved in at No. 7 after wins over Michigan State and
Kentucky in the Maui Invitational. The only bigger jump by an
unranked school since the poll went to 25 teams was by Kansas. It
went to No. 4 after winning the 1989 Preseason NIT.
