Nationally, advertisers paid an average of four million dollars to get their message out to the largest television audience of the year. Locally, The University of Kentucky took advantage of the big stage and aired a :30 commercial in the Super Bowl locally on WKYT to promote ticket sales at Commonwealth Stadium for the 2013 season.

The commercial has also been promoted via twitter through multiple twitter accounts including Kentucky Athletics, Assistant Basketball Coach Orlando Antigua and UK President Dr. Eli Capilouto who tweeted "We are a @BBNUnited.
