Bullitt East big man Derek Willis announced today he will play basketball at Kentucky.
The 6-foot-9 junior, rated one of the top 30 players in the Class of 2013, made the announcement at an afternoon press conference at his high school.
Willis, who had committed to play at Purdue in the spring of 2011, reopened his recruitment last fall. Willis chose UK over Indiana, Purdue and Louisville.
