The former offensive coordinator hosted his first media day Friday as the Wildcat's head coach and acknowledged the biggest uncertainty swirls around who will get the bulk of the snaps at quarterback.

The two men, often criticized for their players' academic performance, had better-than-expected scores in the NCAA's first Academic Progress Rate for coaches. On Thursday, the NCAA released coaches' scores in six sports - baseball, football, men's and women's basketball and women's indoor and outdoor track - from 2003-04 through 2008-09.

Patterson will join Eric Bledsoe, the 18th overall pick and member of the Los Angeles Clippers, on Saturday, July 31. The camp, scheduled for July 29-31, will feature the No. 5 pick and current Sacramento King DeMarcus Cousins on Thursday, July 29, the No. 1 overall pick and current Washington Wizard John Wall on Friday, July 30 and Bledsoe and Patterson on Saturday. The camp will run from 9:00 a.m. – noon for children K-4th grade, and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. for campers 5-12th grade. Each pro player will attend one full day of camp for both age groups.
