Brittany Pelletz is the weekend evening anchor on WKYT. Brittany joined WKYT in October of 2011. Brittany is a general assignment reporter during the week. Brittany moved to Lexington from Abilene, Texas where she worked as an anchor/reporter at KRBC-TV for three years. Brittany graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida and went to high school in Harvard Massachusetts.
From an early age, loved to write and tell stories. She used to read her homework out loud to her parents, friends, or anyone who would listen. She also enjoyed writing fiction stories in her spare time. It made perfect sense to tell the real life stories of people and pursue a career in journalism.
Brittany loves to meet new people and learn new things. She is an adventurous person. When she is not working, Brittany likes to spend time with her husband, family, and friends. She also enjoys exercising, traveling, going shopping, writing, taking pictures, and relaxing on the beach.
Brittany enjoys volunteering. She is a Big Sister for the Big Brothers Big Sister of the Bluegrass program. She loves spending time and exploring Kentucky with her little sister.
