I guess I knew I needed to be a sportscaster when I would always talk to the TV as a child and then hear the broadcasters say exactly what I had just said. I've done just about everything in this business from hockey to baseball to football and basketball on radio and TV. It's great to get to work doing something that you truly love to do. And it's also great to get to work at the place where I started as an intern back in 1994. Luckily, the same guys on our sports staff now are the same ones that taught me everything I know about this business.

I grew up in Louisville, but my roots are truly in Lexington because I went to college here (Transylvania) and have been here for the better part of 15 years. I love the passion for sports in this town like a lot of SEC towns. Sports aren't just sporting events, they are social events in the community. My favorite sporting event is without a doubt the Kentucky Derby, and my favorite pro teams are the Dolphins, the Knicks, and the Red Sox.
