I feel as if I've come full circle in my journey to return to Lexington. I was born and raised on a farm here in Kentucky, which makes me quite fond of the outdoors and animals! After graduating from Lafayette High School, I went on to Eastern Kentucky University to obtain my broadcasting degree. In February of 1995 I traveled to the mountains of Eastern Kentucky to work as a general assignment reporter at WYMT TV. After 8 months, I moved into the morning anchor position where I stayed for two years. I hated to leave the mountains, because I made so many wonderful friends that treated me just like family!! What a wonderful place! However, my real family is here in Central Kentucky and above all...family is the most important in my eyes! Speaking of family....My Mom and Dad are the most wonderful people ever!! I feel so blessed because of the close relationship I have with them and my older brother and sister! Also - I have three nephews and two nieces who are just adorable!! I strive hard to be the favorite Aunt! I’ve saved the best for last…. The loves of my life!! My husband Mark and our precious daughters, Kennedy Ann & Kamryn Alexandra!!!! They are such blessings!!! I sincerely appreciate you, the viewer, for taking interest in what we do.
