I was born and raised in Lexington, KY, and I am thrilled to be working at a news station I grew up watching. I graduated from Lexington Catholic High School in 2005, and then went to the University of Kentucky where I majored in journalism and minored in political science.

Right after graduating, I started a a job in June 2009 at our sister station WYMT in Hazard, KY. There I worked as a reporter, anchor and producer. My experience there was invaluable, and it was there that I knew I found the job I loved.

While at UK, I worked with our college station, News 16. I also hosted a radio show for WRFL-FM. I have had internship experience in Lexington, and I spent a summer in New York City interning with the Fox News Channel.

My parents live in Lexington, and I have an older brother who lives in Columbia, South Carolina. We all are huge Kentucky Wildcat fans, making me thankful I am in the Bluegrass state! I love being active, and if it can be outside, that's even better. I also enjoy traveling and spending as much time as I can with friends and family.
